ROOT CAUSES OF THE PRESENT FINANCIAL CRISIS

ROOT CAUSES OF THE PRESENT FINANCIAL CRISIS

Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, sponsored by Phil Gramm, resended Glass-Stiegal in 1999

Commodities Futures Modernization Act, sponsored by Phil Gramm and supported by Robert Ruben,
Alan Greenspan and Gary Gensler, totally deregulated derivatives in 2000

Commodities Futures Modernization Act, of 2000, exempted credit default swaps from gaming laws

Phil Gramm received a lot of money from lobbyist for his support of those changes which favored the derivatives market

Former Goldman Sachs employees engineered the bailout: Paulson, Giethner, Gensler, etc. and President Obama has a lot of these same people advising him.

The European banking families have long lusted after the American economy.

With the response to the ‘economic crisis’ resulting in the Federal Reserve gaining control of critical elements of our economy, the european bankers finally have not only realized their long sought after prize, but have also captured the American corporations who are now indebted to the Federal Reserve.

But what is more amazing is that in the midst of this ‘take over’ the American people quibble, knitpick and major on minor issues and matters of no consequence while they simultaneously protest and naysay the very efforts which seek to save us.

I think that is the plan though. To keep us in strife with each other; to keep our minds numb with video games, to keep us fed from the breasts of their ‘media outlets’ and it doesn’t matter if we are ‘right’ or ‘left’ because this whore has
two breasts to satisfy whichever flavor you claim to be; to dilute our will to really think by engorging us with the ‘reality TV’ they want us to think is real; to keep us oblivious about what is really important to our existence and survival because what could be more important than Dancing With the Stars, American Idol and TMZ?

But while we are being distracted with foolishness RFID tags have arrived to ‘safeguard’ our pets and elderly and digital TV has moved into our homes. They told us we needed both, and we believed them! Just who is watching whom anyway?

In the end, they will get what they seek, CONTROL. And it will be because we just gave it away.

The Planned Destruction of the American Economy

THE PLANNED DESTRUCTION OF THE AMERICAN ECONOMY

Billionaire investor Stephen Jarislowsky, who recently told the Canadian House of Commons, “Canada and the United States should both abandon their national dollar currencies and move to a regional North American currency as soon as possible.” Jarislowsky continued, “We have to really start thinking of the model of a continental currency. The idea would be a European Union-type setup with a North American central bank that would issue the new currency and sit over the Bank of Canada and the Federal Reserve in the United States.”

Ben Steil, director of international economics at the Council on Foreign Relations, wrote an article in the May/June 2007 issue of Foreign Affairs entitled The End of National Currency. His primary thesis was unambiguous.

“National currencies and global markets simply do not mix. In order to globalize safely, countries should abandon monetary nationalism and abolish unwanted currencies.”

Is this where Barack Obama enters the picture? Since his mantra for the past two years has been change, publisher Bob Chapman of The International Forecaster fits the final piece to the puzzle. “Creating the amero will be presented to the American public as the administration’s solution for dollar recovery.”

To do so, could an emergency be declared where the U.S. is reorganized under some form of Chapter 11 bankruptcy, with the entire banking industry nationalized, including the Federal Reserve?

School Systems Take Over

School Systems Take Over

There is a determined effort to monetize public education backed by an organization called ALEC.

ALEC was founded in 1973 by Paul Weyrich and other conservative activists frustrated by recent electoral setbacks, ALEC is a critical arm of the right-wing network of policy shops that, with infusions of corporate cash, has evolved to shape American politics. Inspired by Milton Friedman’s call for conservatives to “develop alternatives to existing policies [and] keep them alive and available,” ALEC’s model legislation reflects long-term goals: downsizing government, removing regulations on corporations and making it harder to hold the economically and politically powerful to account. Corporate donors retain veto power over the language, which is developed by the secretive task forces. The task forces cover issues from education to health policy. ALEC’s priorities for the 2011 session included bills to privatize education, break unions, deregulate major industries, pass voter ID laws and more. In states across the country they succeeded, with stacks of new laws signed by GOP governors like Ohio’s John Kasich and Wisconsin’s Scott Walker, both ALEC alums.

Public schools are being deemed ‘failing’ and select charter schools are taking over the schools.

In doing so, public taxpayer money is being redirected into the coffers of private corporations.

The thing is this, the charter schools themselves are performing worse than the schools they replaced. Students are being cherry picked in order to increase the likelihood of achieving high scores, while ‘low performing’ students are being left in the remaining public schools to languish.

Experienced and tenured teachers are being forced out through legislation and job actions and replaced with inexperienced ‘Teach For America’ teachers whose only investment in their students is the time it takes them to work off their school loans.

Experienced school administrators are being replaced with puppets who barely meet the minimum standards to be teachers, let alone school administrators.

Beware of the ALEC Education Agenda:

-Privatize public education
-Eliminate teaching requirements
-Institute voucher system to eliminate need for school boards
-End collective bargaining for teachers

Just look at how this was carried out in New Orleans and how they fought back:
